What sample dress sizes do you stock? At any time wedding dresses in stock will range from a size 8-16, with most dresses ranging between a 10-12 (these are the most readily available sizes for us to source). If there is a particular dress listed that you would like to try and are unsure if it is the right size please get in touch with us and we can give you guidance.
What condition are the sample dresses in? Our dresses are either ex showroom samples in great condition, or brand new discontinued and surplus stock from various designers. None of our wedding dresses have been previously worn for a wedding. All our ex-sample wedding dresses are cleaned and checked over before they are put on the studio floor; please note wedding dresses may need minor attention such as loose beads or marks from being tried on, which is the responsibility of the buyer. If you do decide to have your wedding dress cleaned, either before or after your wedding, please approach a professional cleaning company that specialises in dry cleaning wedding dresses. We will be happy to make some recommendations. Please note that all dresses are sold as seen.
What if my wedding dress doesn’t fit? Most brides need to have their wedding dress altered in order to achieve the right fit; commonly this will involve taking it in and shortening the hem (length). We offer an in-house alterations service; please note availability depends on the time of year and our busier periods. If there are any style changes you would like to make to a dress you find with us that you love (such as lowering a neckline or adding a cap sleeve), we are happy to discuss what is possible at your consultation.
Do I need to book an appointment? Yes, as we work on an appointment only basis from our studio in North London. If you would like to try on wedding dresses please contact us using the appointment request form.
How many guests can I bring to my appointment? We welcome brides to bring guests; however as we are a small studio we kindly request you keep your guests to a maximum of two. We also advise you to only bring people that know your style well and understand your vision; it can otherwise become very confusing if you have conflicting opinions on your favourite wedding dress!
What should I bring with me to my appointment? Please bring a good fitting strapless bra with you preferably in a skin tone or light colour and any shapewear you may want to wear on the day. Shoes will be provided although you are welcome to bring a pair if you know the heel height you will be wearing on your wedding day.
What methods of payment do you accept? We accept cash, debit and credit cards including American Express. All sample dresses must be paid in full upon purchase, as you will take the dress away with you on the day.
Do you accept returns? All wedding dresses are sold at a discounted price on RRPs and are non-returnable and non-refundable after purchase. We encourage brides to be 100% sure before making their decision and to check over your dress before purchasing, as we are then confident that you will be happy with your chosen wedding dress.
